Q & A 03
History of EMMI
Ecumenism is any interdenominational initiative aimed at greater cooperation among Christian churches.
The Chaplaincy is a daughter of The Eric Michel Ministries International, its Headquart in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Chaplaincy has come a long way in research and studies since 1966, with the first embryo in 1987 (1979 without any members). We believe that every person must experience the truth for themselves for it to take a hold of their life and become their guiding revelation. Chaplaincy, unlike some Churches on the Internet, is not about money but will like your support.
EMMI Chaplaincy Harmony, our URI.org Circle since 2010
THE CHAPLAINCY
Eric Michel Ministries Int'l Chaplaincy is a Catholic ecumenical working for Christian Organisations. This is the way that we teach and outreach since the beginning; we are convinced that the only way to salvation has only one catholic, universal faith; remembering a sermon of the televangelist Frederick K.C. Price one time said, "Jesus was NOT Catholic, Methodist, He was not Evangelic Baptist, not Episcopalian, Jesus was not Lutheran, Pentecostal, Anglican, Presbyterian, Jesus was a "JEW" a prophet and healer of the Jewish faith.
According to Bishop Spong, a prophet doesn't mean telling the future like many think but explaining the Kingdom of God.
We are separated brothers
Brothers in Christ, churches are the family of God on earth, united in a new millennium. Proclaim JP II
It started in 1978 with SUNS (Société Universelle du Nouveau Syncretism / Universal Society of New Syncretism).
1988 Eric Michel was ordinated priest by Bishop T.T. Wally, from Johannite Tradition from Albany, New York.
1993 we became Eglise Gnostique Chrétienne Universelle (Universal Christian Gnostic Church)
In 2012 we became Eric Michel Ministry and Chaplaincy, joining the IFCC, a Born Again Chaplaincy and teamed up with Bishop Marie Arnold, founder of New Hope Ministry and Missions, an independent Baptist.
2015, the EMMI Seminary" Footsteps of Jesus and Bible Academy" is the one that trains and supplies the clergy persons and administers with New Hope Ministry and Missions all our organizations. The clergy is composed of ministers devoted to helping the people of our community. The EMMI suggests that we should each be our own individual moral authority. A Chaplaincy must serve its members’ higher needs; therefore, the Chaplaincy offers recommendations and suggestions for its members to fashion a system of moral and ethical conduct that works for them. EMMI has dogmas and prescribed rituals. The closest the Chaplaincy comes to preaching is the meditations, The Chaplaincy is mindful of the fact that the clergy is what drove many people away from their former Churches. That is not an outcome that the Chaplaincy desires here. The Chaplaincy will never have a minister or any officer with claims authority over any other member's faith. We say spiritual behaviour that each of us does on our own, and even if we do have standard practices, each individual believes, and does rituals in his own Christian way, like some pray other do not believe in prayers, for me a prayer per definition is a request, so I prefer meditating where you get your answer in your conciseness. As we have no dogma and contemplate in our worship, we are in admiration in front of the fascinating creation of the universe, from a microscopic cell to a galaxy. Also, we do have a sacred life itself toward God. Our Clergy is the only place where we have a structure, hierarchies and rules, not toward faith or religious activities but as an organization with a CEO, directors, managers, supervisors and clerks. We call ourselves priests, Ministers and Chaplains, so it makes sense to use Chaplaincy denominations like misters, pastors, bishops or archbishops. Our role is to support, we aim for the clergy to help people or groups of people as social workers; our goal as any Christian is to help the neighbour. The religious clothes, worn by some of us as a uniform, facilitate our work when we meet new people, it distinguishes from the mass we wear like the salvation army uniform, it plays the same role. We need to mention the clergy exceptions, as everyone knows we have only one belief, and it is in God, but we have three pathways to explore or practice with different additions to traditional Christianism. Affirming the dignity of each human being, it supports the maximization of individual liberty and opportunity consonant with social and planetary responsibility. Clergy members do perform sacramentals such as baptism, marriage or unction, where the law permits it their accreditations are done by the Government. We ordain anyone who asks for it, freely, who is seeking the truth as we are all and practice the golden rule to treat others as he/she wants to be treated.

OTHER FAITH OR RELIGIONS
we accept other religions because, in our view, it has only one God with many names, and there is only one religion though there may appear to be many. When understood according to their true meaning, they are basically the same, proclaiming the Truth and teaching the relation of God to his creation. Each person is an individual created by God.
Emerging Christianity
From day one, we behaved as an Emerging Christian Church, but we were heretics in the view of other members of the Christian faith, other churches didn't want to get involved in anything we did except some Chaplains open to other faiths, and we were classified as Non-Christian organism…
Surprisingly, our teaching is the same as the Roman Catholic Church under the new Pope Francis I. We are a Nondualism Thinking, meaning that we do not hold the truth we experience each other denominations part of the truth where each of them holds a part of it, and we try to patch all those parts together and Preach the total of all those truths ending with only One Real Truth
As we used the Buddha Philosophy for years in our teaching, Fr. Richard Rohr OFM presents the similarities, differences, and complementarity between the Eastern and Western understandings of transformation. Some have called the goal enlightenment, some salvation, some ecstasy, nirvana, or heaven. What is the goal of the spiritual journey according to the main line of Christian tradition? What Christian spirituality called the unitive way was often described as non-dual consciousness by Hinduism, Buddhism and Taoism. Are we often seeking the same thing? How can we honour and respect each of these spiritual traditions?
Chaplaincy promotes the fact that there is a Supreme Being. It should be the goal of everyone to look for that Deity in the world around us and let that discovery enrich our life. The Chaplaincy believes and practices the words of Jesus, leader of a truly pacific Church and his first apostles who created the first Christian Churches, Mary of Magdalena and became the leader of the twelve. The Medieval scholars who worked to dismiss all evidence of a woman leader of the Church made her gospel Apocrypha. For us, the truth is not restricted to any one group, location, experience or holy writ. We learn from anyone searching and exposing the facts if we can rationalize it with the reason it becomes part of our beliefs.
We use the words not only to glorify God but also we use them toward our neighbour, keeping in mind the golden rule, to help with the tools or the possibility in our disposition to help. We won't ask you to give what you don't have as they say: "The charity begins at home".The EMMI is a Chaplaincy open to other faith, even if we keep a Progressiste Christian position on our beliefs. The Chaplaincy is exoteric, meaning access to all, understanding other faiths and agreeing to be part of interfaith organizations to promote peace with the cooperative group HARMONY using the interaction between different religious traditions at the individual level with the aim to create social assistance to anyone in need.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
Spirituality must have a place in our thoughts to provide a good philosophy of life. The word "philosophy" means the rational study of general subjects concerning which certainty cannot easily be established scientifically or by simple observation. These often include topics that range from existence,
knowledge and reason to morality, the mind and beauty. The English word "philosophy" comes from the Greek philosophia, which literally means "love of wisdom" and was used to refer to any pursuit of knowledge. "Science" was coined to refer to the reasoning known as the scientific method, which employed increasingly successful empirical technical. The term Natural Philosophy was succeeded by the natural sciences, such as physics, chemistry and biology, according to wikipedia.org
Wisdom is the comprehension of what is true or right coupled with optimum judgment as to action. Synonyms include Sagacity, discernment, or insight. Wisdom often requires control of one's emotional reactions (the "passions") so that one's principles, reason and knowledge prevail in determining one's actions. Wisdom is the sum of the experiences and knowledge gained during our lives. Wisdom gives men that true perspective with which to discover the real purpose of life. Spirituality must have a place in daily life, building the honest, unselfish, tolerant human being and producing in him/her the preference for values over material excess. We believe that it is your right to believe as you feel and not as what a
Church or a clergy person tell you what to believe. We also feel that Chaplaincy is to help others with differing beliefs as well or no beliefs at all.
2020
We welcome you to Eric Michel Ministries International's Monotheism Catholic Ministry (MCM). We like to say that there are no strangers here, only friends who haven't met yet. We hope that you find spiritual nurture in our worship and look forward to extending our hand of friendship and peace to you.
Come and see. That's what Jesus said to those people he called into discipleship. When they asked what he was up to, Jesus didn't explain all the details of his mission and ministry; but instead invited them to come and experience it for themselves.
That's what the members of Eric Michel Ministries invite you to do. We'd love to have you come and see what life is like in our community of Catholic faith. We are a reasonably small Christian Community, a place where there is always plenty going on!
Open to all.
